Perfectly situated just 7 km off the N7:  Not too far on the dirt road yet enjoying the uniqueness of the unspoilt Wildernis area.

We are centrally situated to explore all the well known places in the Cederberg  e.g.   The Cross, The Cracks, The Arch and the Caves.  ( All permits obtainable  here.)

All these things you can enjoy in a save environment. 

The farm has got a natural tranquility to its setting and you can be part of it!

Cederberg Cottage  is the oldest building on the farm and was thus being build for its perfect setting.  Build behind some old trees next to a lily pond where you can idle away your day doing  some serious bird watching.  Further more it is a photographers dream.  ( non-negotiable is an extra memory card and battery) All these things you can do from a nice shaded stoop.

The Annex and the Kliphuis again  is for the  very social person or family.  They share a pool,  but only that.  Both units have got its own stoop and braai area.  This nice shaded garden is ideal for family reunions, very small weddings, and  motivation sessions for small companies.

And just to be sure that you have not left planet earth for paradise you will be aware of some farming activities.

Tucked away in a valley in the famous Cederberg mountain range, you will find this lovingly restored 150+ year old farm cottage next to a lily pond overlooking the river . . . and a brand new chalet with lovely views and private plunge pool . . . Rest for a while on this romantic spot in an atmosphere of timeless tranquility, yet without forsaking any modern convenience.

Cederberg Cottage is on the Olivier family farm "Remhoogte". Hospitable owners Gerrie & Maré will gladly tell you more about their Citrus farming activities, show you the farm animals and direct you to special spots like the rock art paintings and amazing rock formations. The farm also has an extensive network of two-track roads for hiking, mountain biking or 4X4 trips.

Excellent opportunities exist for bird watching and rare birds have been spotted on the farm.

Using the farm as your base you can explore all the magical sights of the Cederberg mountains and the breathtaking scenes of the Namaqualand flower season.
